Introducing Hattiesburg Chiropractor Dr. Kris King:

Hattiesburg chiropractor Dr. Kris King.

Hi! I am Dr. Kris King.  It is my pleasure to serve the people of South Mississippi.  Most of my life has been spent in and around Hattiesburg.  My father was a professor at Southern Miss, and my mother was a public school teacher.  I attended Hattiesburg public schools and graduated with Honors from Hattiesburg High School.  Then, I received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Southern Miss.  During this time I was an all conference track athlete. Then, later I was an assistant coach of the USM track team.

Ultimately, I was searching for a career where I could help people and do something that I enjoy.  Chiropractic is the field that best met my goals.  I really enjoy treating people and helping them recover.  I don’t have to give a pill or a shot, but through my personal attention and knowledge, my patients are able to lead healthier, happier lives through treatment and lifestyle modification.

My motto is to give my best to help my patients each visit to my office.  As a result, I expect to see results in days instead of weeks.  Also, I believe the fee schedule in my office is affordable by just about everyone.  I am here to get people well and help improve their lives.

Feel free to schedule a free consultation and we can discuss if I can help you.

Dr. Chris Asks some important questions of interest to Hattiesburg residents - Chiropractor Hattiesburg Dr. Chris Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in vertebral subluxation complex. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
