Introducing Hattiesburg Chiropractor, Dr. Brandon Williamson

Health: A state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (as defined by the World Health Organization)

What is your definition of health? I hope it is similar to the one defined above, but unfortunately in today’s fast paced, eat on-the-go, high stressed society, we tend to put our health on the back burner until our body just completely gives out. Then we spend time treating symptoms instead of living a healthy life. I hope this is not you. I hope you are looking to improve your life through Chiropractic care. You see, Chiropractic care seeks to prevent disease by keeping the nervous system healthy and running efficiently. Chiropractic focuses on wellness and prevention, thus keeping the body healthy.

Hi, I’m Dr. Williamson. My chiropractic journey began about 5 years ago. I always wanted to go into a health care profession but wasn’t sure what avenue to take. What I discovered about the chiropractic philosophy really drew me in. I found a health care profession that aimed at prevention and focused on the cause of disease. Chiropractic realizes that the body has an internal intelligence and therefore works with the body to keep it healthy. It made sense to me. Not to mention it’s safe, natural, and non-invasive. So after I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Mississippi, I moved off to Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. There I received a world class education on the Philosophy, Art, and Science of Chiropractic.

Now that I back in Hattiesburg I hope to bring chiropractic care to everyone in the Pine Belt area. I hope to keep families healthy, athletes strong, and a society that lives in a state of complete health and harmony. I am originally from Sumrall and recently moved back to be closer to my family and friends that I love very much. I want to have a major impact on improving the health of Mississippi. Help me to do that. Thanks for taking the time to look over our website. If you have any questions feel free to email or call me at the office. Hope to see you soon.

Dr. Brandon Asks some important questions of interest to Hattiesburg residents - Chiropractor Hattiesburg Dr. Brandon Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Hattiesburg folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
